The UM-5 series Ultrasonic Thickness Gauge with live time A-Scan and time based B-scan display for flaw detection.
All data is presented clearly thanks to the high resolution 2.4" Color OLED display.
The live A-scan and time-based B-scan waveform allows the user to not only view and analyse the waveform, but you can also adjust the gain, blanking and gate for correctness of measured result and flaw detection to identify any problem areas such as wear, or corrosion build up etc.
UM-5 also features Echo-Echo mode* for thru paint/coating measurement. In this mode a paint layer or coating can be ignored and the substrate metal measured accurately. It can be used for measuring both metal and non-metalic materials including Plastic, Steel, PVC and Glass Plates and Pipes.
It has a large capacity data logger and extensive DataView software** making it suitable for use in industrial fields such as manufacturing and metal processing, etc.
