The FGD series by Starr Instruments is designed for use throughout Australian industry.

Built with a metal casing for durability and with a large, auto-reversible, backlit Liquid Crystal display for easy reading nd any light conditions.

The FGD series uses a highly accurate (± 0.2% F.S.), integrated S-beam load cell to measure the applied force in both push and pull directions. 

It has touch-sensitive buttons for easy operation and is fitted with an overload protection system consisting of an audible and visual alarm to reduce the chance of misuse and damage to the load cell.

A large internal memory of 1,000 records provides the user with data logging capabilities. The FGD connects to your PC directly via USB. This enables live data-logging and download memory data for further reporting through included EDMS software (*free download after purchase)

It can be used in many different applications, such as:

• Manual handling testing and OH&S. To determine safe work load limits when pushing and or pulling materials handling equipment such as pallet trucks, lift trucks, trolleys, bins, fire doors etc.
• Remedial occupational therapy, physiotherapy
