11280 11281 11282 11283
The new Surfix® SX and EX Series Coating Thickness Gauges from Phynix are manufactured in Germany and feature an external probe sensor on a fly-lead for better access to tight working spaces.
Now also featuring USB charging which means it can now be operated with batteries, rechargeable batteries (NiMH) or directly via the USB connection.
Two models are available:
The Surfix® SX for connection of exchangeable, separate probes. This allows the user maximum flexibility, enabling the device to fulfill many different measurement tasks.
The Surfix® EX features a firmly fixed standard probe - suitable for applications where the measurement tasks are clearly defined. It is easy to use and also more cost efficient compared to the Surfix® SX.
The probe has a highly wear resistant carbide pole tip and the plastic foot is equipped with a v-groove to ensure upright position when on cylindrical and curved surfaces. An optional high temperature foot is available to allow for measurements on surfaces up to 300°C.
Available as Standard with data memory (2,000 values) which can be transferred via USB 2.0 to PC for reporting.
Other features include statistics, limit values, automatic material selection and three different calibration modes
Coating thickness gauges are used to measure the thickness of dry film coatings such as electroplating, paint, powder coating, etc for quality control purposes.
