LHT-160 portable LEEB Hardness Tester from Starr Instruments is suitable for testing Steel and cast steel, alloy steel, stainless steel, gray cast iron, nodular cast iron, cast aluminium alloy, copper zinc alloy (brass), copper alloy (bronze), tin, pure copper, forging steel etc.
It has a large, colour display for easy reading with dual display of the current hardness value and conversion to another hardness scale.
The built-in printer allows quick output of test data so that it can be attached to each job batch. The LHT-160 also has internal memory for saving test set data with software included for reporting.
The LHT-160 can accept all kinds of LEEB impact device. It is supplied as standard with D-type impact device for all general hardness testing.
You can add other types to extend the testing capabilities as required at additional cost.
Type C for surface hardened materials and thin, lightweight sample pieces
Type DC for measurements with low height space
Type DL for stepped, recessed parts such as gear teeth and o-ring grooves
Type G for big, rough raw castings of iron, steel and aluminium that have no surface preparation
